Day fourty three of van life, November 10th, 2025.

Relive for last few days

Nothing for today, November tenth.


10,500 miles, 43 days, we are now at our hotel before morning lift off tomorrow at sparrows fart, wee morning early.

Hope TSA and FAA are working, but with current political weather, you just never know.  Wish us luck.

It has been about five days since our last posting, busy times and lots going on.  Let's recap as I sit at a little bar in our hotel ordering from a grumpy waiter.

November six, we wake up in Lordsburg, ok, we slept at a flying J's parking lot with other happy campers. A full moon is epic, but the campsite works.


We drive thru Bowie Arizona, a fun dirt road that is pretty cool as we head to one of the coolest parks yet.

Edventually, (I made up that word), we get to Chiricahua national monument.  Apparently it is the first day they have opened up as a park.  We are able to explore and decide to spend the night here.

Ka'a Nui's travels....

  The Travels of Ka'a Nui! The journey starts with a single step.  Make that 35 years of working in great occupations for both of us.  We are now retired, or nearly so.  Our magic camper van ships out to San Diego, July 15, 2025.  We will hopefully pick it up on July 29th and start heading north thru the Pacific NorthWest. Leg one July 28th-Septmber 6, 2025 Pickup van in San Diego pier.  Head to Sister Nubee's in Cali.  Off to Bob's to get some of our supplies and drink his beer, then Stevens in Seattle.  Looking forward to a "Weird Al" Yankovic show, then a super fun Bluegrass camping festival.  After that, back to oregon, hike, walk, hike, and then head to Sacromento to fly home Sept 8th.
